Long Time No Blog! Let’s Catch Up!

I can’t believe my last blog post was posted a month ago! Time has flown by so quickly. So let’s catch up and welcome to my blog.

I’m gonna start with the serious stuff and get that outta the way. The reason I haven’t been blogging is because I just haven’t been inspired. I feel like I am over giving tips on how to live your best life because I don’t know how. I am just out here living and taking life day by day. I have been been avoiding other bloggers post if they talk about how to do this or how to do that. I am just not interested. That’s just where I am at with that right now. I haven’t been interested sharing my favorite products or items because who cares. Sounds so negative, doesn’t it? So instead, I think my blog is going to in the direction of just sharing my everyday life. I hope that makes sense.

So what have I been up to? For the past few months I have been working on propagating my rubber plant. I took this photo a while ago. I have lost a bunch of the individual leaf pieces but have a few that are thriving still.

Recently my husband was going to throw away some old citronella candles we haven’t been using. I saw them in the trash can and took them out. I melted the wax and placed them in smaller jars for us to use outside. Since they are smaller we are now using them more often. Trying to reduce our waste.

I’ve been gaining some weight and just generally not happy with my current health. Working on that…I am taking yoga classes weekly and love that. I tried this One bar this weekend. Not that good but it smiled at me 😜 can you find the smile?

This weekend I repoted my orchid plant. I was going to repot our peace lily but ended up deciding to leave it alone.

My husband got me these beautiful sunflowers for our wedding anniversary last month. I dried them out and put them in a vase. They make lovely decor.

I also just started crocheting again. It has been months since I created anything. It may be early but I am working on some Christmas gifts for family members. Other then the things I’ve listed. I have been cooking more and just living life. Life has been overwhelming with work and just doing everyday tasks. I do want to get back into blogging and plan to start with posting once a week.

Thanks for reading this quick update! Happy Sunday and let’s conquer the week ahead.

I get what you are feeling. I feel like a hamster on a wheel or getting anywhere! I think we try so hard. Sometimes we just need to do some other things, take a break and come back refreshed! Have a good week!

Welcome back, friend! As you can see, I am on a similar hiatus. I felt all of your emotions in this post. Just trying to focus on living and staying at peace, and not being ruffled by the things that social media tries to impose on us. Love all of the plants and flowers! Nature is so good for healing and staying calm. I have been interested in repurposing candles. You’ve inspired me to give that a try!
