Crochet Chevron Blanket | DIY

Chevron crochet blankets can also be called “Zig Zag” or “Ripple” when it comes to giving this pattern a name. They are also my go to style when I am crocheting a blanket. I just love the pattern because it is easy to create and you can use multiple colors or keep the color pattern simple. The color combinations are endless and it is a classic pattern that will never go out of style.

Today I wanted to share my most recent chevron blanket creation with you! This was by far the largest blanket I have ever made. It was a Christmas present to my mother in law this past year. I chose different shades of brown for this blanket and it took me about 3-4 months to create. People always love and appreciate homemade gifts that have purpose. They take time, patience and lots of hard work to make them.

For size reference the bed is a queen size.

I love how the blanket turned out! It looks so beautiful and I am happy with the finished product. Below I wanted to share some other chevron pieces I have made in the past!

What a beautiful blanket! And so much work has been put in to make it that size, I’m so impressed and inspired!
