Welcome the February, or as I am calling it the Month of Love ❤💋 This month, lets focus on loving our selves and others. Yes, it may be cheesy but I enjoy valentines day. It does not have to be mushy but instead it is what you make of it. I am going to start with a quick recap of last months goals and then get into my current goals.
January 2022 Goals
✔ Blog consistently: I have been posting 2-3 times a week and prepping my posts in advance.
✔ Interact with other bloggers: Been commenting and reaching out to bloggers and getting conversations started.
✔ Cook dinner more: I use to hate cooking and that is not such much the case anymore. I even had some family over recently and did all the cooking! It was a success and has kept me motivated to keep cooking.
🚫 Speak in kindness: This has been a failure and such a struggle for me. Still working on this one. It can be so easy to let gossip and not so kind words slip.
✔ Read 3 books: Read four books!
🚫 Focus on health & wellness: This also has been a struggle but I have started getting back on track.
February 2022 Goals
This month I wanted to make my goals more specific than I normally do. I am hoping this will make it easier to accomplish more this month.
💋 Personal photos once a week: It is so easy to use stock photos with blogging. I would like to have at least one post a week that uses photos I’ve taken instead of stock photos. I would like to show my face around here more. I am no photographer but I will do my best.
💋 Hit 1,000 views this month: This goal feels a little beyond my control but I am gonna try. I don’t consistently hit that many views but I’m usually pretty close.
💋 Create March content list: I like to have blog posts planned out. I even cleared out my draft section recently. That felt like such a relief. So I would like my blog to get planned a month in advance.
💋 Speak like a lady and in kindness: This is a goal that has been part of my feminine journey and one that I have been struggling with. This month my plan is to master this goal. Well…maybe not master but at least do better.
💋 Hit 140-145 pounds and maintain: I made separate post about this goal. I have been struggling with staying on track with my weight. So more to come.
💋 Put my husband first: After all it is love month. When I put this as a goal I mean it with small gestures. For example, my husband always serves me food first. I do make small gestures for him as well but I want to build on them. It may sound old school but I want to listen to him more, focus on him more and put his needs before mine.
