Another Monday means another weekend recap. This past weekend was a blast and was filled with a little too much wine. Don’t judge we have all been there! This Friday I went out with a handful of my co-workers to celebrate and say good bye to one of the physicians we work with. Sadly, they are leaving the practice, which makes me very sad because I truly loved working with her but I am happy for her new journey. It was a pleasure working with her and I plan to stay in contact. The night was filled with good food, laughs and lots of wine. I am not going to share any pictures with faces because I try to respect peoples privacy. Not everyone wants to be plastered all over the internet.

Saturday Millie had a vet appointment to get a physical and caught up on her vaccines. Does anybody else’s dog act like a nut at the vet? Millie is such a happy social dog and wants to say hello and play with everyone. She can be a little overbearing but she just wants to play with everyone. We got her all caught on her vaccines, picked up some heart worm medication and had some labs drawn. She did great with her appointment and was tuckered out afterwards. She slept for hours! We also got to use her car seat for the first time. I am so happy that the dog car seat worked amazingly! She stayed in the seat and was able to sit and even lay down in it. She also did not get car sick which makes me so happy.

Saturday evening I hung out with my friend Chelsea. Little back story about our friendship. I met her years ago (probably 14-15 years ago) while at work and we became friends. She also is how I met my husband. So we have known each other for a long time. It has been a while since we have talked or gotten together. I missed her so I reached out to her and we hung out at her new home and had some drinks and food. It was nice catching up. She is one of those friends that I could not talk to for a long time and we can pick up right where we left off. But! we did talk about staying in contact with each other more and not allowing so much time to pass between talking. She recently moved into a new home and it was so nice and cozy to sit out on her deck. Her deck was so cozy and I loved the bean chairs she has! I even saw this gem on her couch! I crocheted this blanket for her a few years ago! I have not created anything like this blanket in a long time.

Sunday was spent cleaning the house and taking a nap! Anybody else love taking naps? I usually take a nap every Sunday. Seeing the blanket I made for my friend inspired me to get some yarn and start making one for myself. I have made blankets in the past but I usually only ever used left over yarn and did not make anything that nice. So I picked out some colors and I am going to make a ripple blanket like the one I made my friend. I think I am going to use in on my bed.

I also grabbed an ice cream cone with my favorite ice cream Graham Central Station while I was out grabbing the yarn. I know I should not have but I did anyway. So that was my weekend! I think I need to get better at getting more photos so I think I am going to work on that. But that is all for now! Happy Monday! What did you do this weekend?

This was such a wonderful read; Millie looks like such fun company. Thank you for sharing ❣️
