Target & Volumize Your Lashes: Lancôme Idole Mascara Review

I recently fell in love with Lancôme products when I started using their Lancôme Idole perfume. I love the perfume so much that I wanted to test out some of their other beauty products. When I found out they were releasing an Idole mascara in December of 2020 I knew I had to get my hands on it and I am so happy I did because it is perfect for those long work shifts.

This mascara is lash lifting and volumizing. It is meant to target every single lash for an instant lift and length. It fans out the lashes for optimized volume and no clumping. The wand is curved which makes application easy and quick. The gel formula does not weigh down the lashes and leaves them feathery and lightweight. There is no smudging or flaking. The formula is created with white tea extract which provides antioxidant and conditioning care.

I have used this mascara for weeks now and it lasts me all day. I have not experienced any clumping, flaking or smudging. The formula is not waterproof but also does not come off easily. I have stepped in the shower and it does not run off my face. Just using a gentle cleanser removes the mascara. It does not run into my eyes with rain or cause any burning.

This has been the perfect addition to my morning routine during the work week. Since I work as a registered nurse I am wearing a mask all day. I have been avoiding wearing a full face of makeup during working hours for this reason. This mascara makes me look put together and enhances my look while avoiding the full face of makeup.

The above picture was taken with no mascara on. The below picture is after applying the Lancome Idole mascara.
